  1. How to configure Weebly Pages for SEO
  2. How to configure weebly Blog Posts for SEO

Within the SETTINGS tab on your weebly editor, you will find SEO tab and from there you can configure a site-wide seo for your website. But this is not enough. In order to get a better ranking, you need to configure individual pages and posts for search engines. I will guide you step-by-step on how to optimize both your weebly individual pages and weebly individual blog post for search engines.

In the first part of this article, I explained the meanings of meta descriptions, meta keywords and page titles. I also explained how to add them to weebly pages and blog posts.

This part of the article will focus on submitting your website to search engines. I will not put much emphasis on this because there are loads of articles from both search engines and other authors explaining how to submit a website to any search engine.

The primary reason for this article is to remind you or let you know that it doesn’t stop at adding meta tags to your website, that submitting your website to search engines is very important. HOW TO BACKUP A WEEBLY THEME

Backing up a theme is one of the most important things one should do after launching a website or every time changes are made to the theme.

To backup any weebly theme, on your weebly site editor,

  • click THEME,
  • on the THEME panel, click EDIT HTML/CSS
  • still on the left editor panel, click EXPORT THEME.
  • choose a folder to SAVE the theme.

That’s it!

NOTE: Backing up a theme doesn’t back up your website contents. It simply saves the styling and some functions of your website. Click here to learn how to back a weebly website.
